Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa wants a voters' roll with pictures of all registered voters to prevent rigging, a request described by observers as an intimidation tactic. The electoral body says photos will only be used for identification on election day, adding that "giving every stakeholder pictures of registered voters will create problems around confidentiality".
