Ugandan Music Icon Geoffrey Oryema Cremated Amid Protests

A week after the popular singer Geoffrey Oryema died, there was controversy on how the musician should be buried, with his cultural customs custodians opposing to the idea of cremating - but his French spouse had the final say. Oryema has been battling cancer for a couple of years. He was the son of a Ugandan cabinet minister, Erinayo Wilson Oryema, who was murdered.
