Mauritania Names Road After Nelson Mandela

A major road in Nouakchott, the desert capital of Mauritania, is to bear the name of former South African president Nelson Mandela. A ceremony to mark the renaming took place as part of the 31st Ordinary Session of the Assembly of African Union Heads of State and Government in the country.
