Lawmakers to Probe Abacha Loot Spending Since 1998
The House of Representatives has resolved to set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate the total amount recovered from late head of state Sani Abacha from 1998 to date. The committee is expected to dig out all recoveries made and mode of payments, how the money was disbursed and report back within the next six weeks.
