Rain has brought more than just flooding to the village of Gitugu: it has torn apart the very ground beneath people's homes and fields. In a matter of months, Gitugu, a tea-growing village about 75 kilometres north of the capital Nairobi, has become a ghost town, and the same has happened in other villages in the area.
