Obama's Short Visit Leaves Some Kenyans Sour

Former U.S. president Barack Obama's visit to his father's birthplace reportedly ended in an anti-climax after he apparently evaded the public. Obama, who was driven from 60km from Kisumu to Kogelo, arrived in Kogelo unnoticed because the usual sirens used by security vehicles escorting VIPs were not used. The former US president was seen by a few people, VIPs and close family members.
