U.S. Senator Wants Action on Tanzania's 'Anti-Democratic Actions'

New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez has called on President Donald Trump's government to immediately nominate an ambassador to lead diplomatic efforts to deal with what he called, "the tide of anti-democratic actions by the Tanzanian government. He says the country raises concerns over the increasing restrictions on basic freedoms.
