Ruling Party Takes Early Lead in Zimbabwe Vote
The ruling Zanu-PF has taken a lead in the National Assembly seats after the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announced the first set of results from July 30's polls. This comes after opposition MDC Alliance held celebrations to declare victory. The elections body Chairperson Priscilla Chigumba says more results would be announced as soon as they are collated and verified.
