Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor, Nigeria's hope for a gold medal at the Africa Championships, has withdrawn from 100m and 200m events, leaving fans disappointed as they wanted to see the showdown between the sprint queen and rival Marie Josee Ta Lou of Cote d'Ivoire.
