Plot to Impeach Saraki Thickens - Senators Blocked by Masked Men
Masked security operatives blocked all entry or exits from the National Assembly in a reported bid to impeach Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu. Some lawmakers had in the past few days insisted that Saraki must quit his position after having defected from the majority party. Saraki had called that the leadership of the National Assembly to a meeting today to deliberate urgent national matters.
