Poaching Charge Against Missing Hout Bay Fisherman Sparks Protest

The search for Deurick van Blerk, who jumped overboard when an anti-poaching task team approached his boat, has been suspended after divers returned empty-handed. Angry protesters who believe that police shot and killed van Blerk took to the streets and allegedly looted Hout Bay market.

Hout Bay was quiet today as divers continued their search for the body of Deurick Van Blerk.
