South Africa's State Capture Inquiry Unearths True Gems!

The Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture has heard evidence from various former MPs and other government officials, as well as former ministers, on how they were offered ministerial posts, while some were offered massive bribes and others were threatened with death. An inquiry was recommended by former public protector Thuli Madonsela, after her findings were published on the influence the Gupta family, close friends of former president Jacob Zuma, had on him and the decisions taken at government level.
