Kofi Annan's Remains Return Home to Ghana
Six Ghanaian soldiers carried the casket draped with the UN flag off the plane in Accra. The UN flag was then replaced with the red, yellow and green flag of Annan's homeland in a solemn ceremony attended by his wifeNane Maria Annan and family. President Nana Akufo-Addo, senior Ghanaian and UN officials were also present.
