After 44 days of intensive care, an amputation of his lower right leg and rehabilitation, 71-year-old Peter Knottenbeltt has taken his survival of a deadly encounter with a crocodile on the Olifants River in Limpopo as a new lease on life to "support humanity" in any way he can.
