Kano Governor Faces Probe Over Bribery Claims
The Kano State House of Assembly has constituted a seven-person committee to investigate the authenticity of a video recording of alleged bribe-taking by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje. In the video, Ganduje is seen collecting bundles of dollar bills believed to be a bribe being paid by contractors working in the state. The governor says the video is "cloned".
