Nigeria's 2019 Polls - Disgruntled Politicians Stockpiling Arms?
The National Security Council has raised security concerns over post-election violence and stockpiling of weapons by disgruntled politicians across the country ahead of the 2019 general elections. The security chiefs alleged that some "politicians may whip up ethno-religious sentiment to create security situation in the country".
