Minimum Wage Dispute Deepens As Labour Unions Reject Offer

The governors of Nigeria's 36 states have said they can only pay U.S.$62 as new minimum wage as opposed to the U.S.$82 being demanded by organised labour. Labour unions had declared that they would order workers to go on strike from November 6, 2018 if the government refused to take act on its demands.
