Are You Part of the Movement for Health Coverage?

Advocates for the right to health care are raising their voices, dismayed that so many Africans are left behind - often lacking even the most basic health service that could save millions of lives. Impatient with governments that give lip service to better health systems and encouraged by the leadership of Dr. Tedros at the World Health Organization, a growing army of health professionals and their supporters are saying, "Enough".

High rates of preventable deaths of mothers and infants during childbirth are one consequence of lack of access to health services.
