Drama As Rapper HHP's Wife Asks Court to Stop His Funeral

Lerato Sengadi has applied for an interdict to stop his family from burying the late Motswako rapper Jabulani Tsambo, popularly known as HHP. The Tsambo family released a statement after HHP's death saying that they did not recognise Sengadi as their son's wife. Sengadi argues that she entered into a customary marriage with the singer in 2016 and therefore has the full rights to bury her husband.

eNCA senior political reporter Samkele Maseko tweeted: "Lerato Sengadi, wife of HHP has filed papers to halt the funeral from taking place this weekend, she also wants all his belongings handed over to her along with demanding to know the wherabouts of the deceased remains."
