Deadly Bus Crash - Zimbabwe Govt Declares National Disaster

The government has declared a state of national disaster after the accident in which at least 46 people were killed when two buses collided along the Harare-Mutare highway on Wednesday evening. Declaring an accident a national disaster enables the State to mobilise resources to assist the injured and bereaved with cash and burial arrangements.
