Irungu Wants Judge Who Called Him 'Slay Queen' Removed

Joseph Irungu says he is convinced that he will not get a fair trial before Justice James Wakiaga, because of the remarks he made about him during his trial. He says the judge showed bias during the ruling that denied him bail. Irungu and his fiancee, Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe, were charged with the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani at her apartment in Kilimani, Nairobi.

Joseph Irungu alas at the Milimani Law Courts on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
