UN Vows to Recover Mismanaged Funds from Ugandan Govt Officials
The recovery process is part of the accountability measures the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the government is working on to restore donor confidence. A high-level dialogue with the Office of the Prime Minister and other authorities on the audit findings is underway and the preliminary report on how the funds will be recovered is due in mid-December of 2018.
