Rwanda,Tanzania Have Big Plans for Joint Rail Line

The Isaka-Kigali project aims to reduce transport costs, foster physical integration of transport modes, and improve social services between the two countries. Rwanda needs U.S.$1.3 billion to finance its portion of the U.S.$2.5 billion standard gauge railway system.
