How National Health Insurance Can Ease Africa's Ills

Many African countries are integrating universal health insurance into their national health strategy, which has been lauded by the World Health Organization. It is an initiative which could bring relief to the poor who usually bear the highest burden of disease, and who cannot afford high medical costs.
