Nigeria's Zamfara Governor Supports Call for State of Emergency
The Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari, has said that he is ready to vacate office if that is what is required to restore peace and security to the state. In 2018, hundreds of people in Zamfara lost their lives in attacks, and the killings have continued despite the deployment of thousands of security personnel.
