New Water Resources Law Stirs Heated Debate in Tanzania

Lawmakers are already punching holes in the 2018 Water Supply and Sanitation Bill, which provides that anyone found to be misusing water resources should be fined no less than U.S.$4000. They are calling on the government to specify what it means by 'improper use of water resources'.
