Rebels Captured in Chad After French Airstrikes

The rebel group had been making its way into Chad from Libya in a convoy of about 50 vehicles. But observers, including Chadian opposition leaders, are questioning whether the airstrikes were intended to fight terrorism or prop up support for President Idriss Déby, who has led Chad for nearly 30 years.
