Kenyatta House Declined, Given to Another Family

In 2014, Dennis Ngaruiya won President Uhuru Kenyatta's heart with his poem he read during the Kenya Defence Forces Day celebrations in Nakuru. He was offered a full scholarship, a house and a job for his mother. The house has been vacant for three years, after his mother complained to the media that it was substandard and not fit to be a presidential gift. The house has now been given to another deserving family.
