Did Pope Order Return of Ruto's Gift to Kenyan Archbishop?

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has whipped up a storm by claiming that a car given to Archbishop Philip Anyolo by Deputy President William Ruto after his installation as the head of Kisumu Archdiocese, was returned on the order of the Pope, saying the church rejected the vehicle "because it was bought using dirty money".

Archbishop Phillip Anyolo receives a Mitsubishi Pajero from the Deputy President William Ruto at Uzima University Grounds in Kisumu on January 12, 2019.
