Kenyan IT Pioneer Wins German Africa Prize

The 2019 award pays tribute to the Kenyan entrepreneur, Juliana Rotich, not only for her business achievements and technological innovations but also for her outstanding sense of social responsibility. Today her software is used in over 160 countries as a tool for crisis response and for independent election monitoring, for example in Nigeria and Afghanistan.
