University of Nairobi Elects First Female Student Leader

Ann Mwangi Mvurya, a third-year law student, replaces Antony Manyara who has been the chairman of the students association since 2018. This is the second time that the students are electing their leaders following the signing into law of the Universities Amendment Bill in 2016 by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
