Lost Opportunity as Malawi, Tanzania Fail to Discuss Lake Malawi
During his two-day state visit to Malawi, President John Magufuli and Malawi President Peter Mutharika discussed and signed a wide range of agreements including trade, but avoided discussing Lake Malawi that nearly caused a war between the neighbors five years ago, over the ownership of the oil and gas-rich lake.
