Tanzania Repossesses 15 Privatised Enterprises

Industry and Trade Minister Joseph Kakunda says 15 non-performing enterprises will be deprivatised, adding that the government will take over 33 more if they fail to submit their investment reports in early May. Twenty years ago, the government privatised 176 state-owned firms under the World Bank-funded Presidential Parastatal Sector Reform Commission.
