Zimbabwe's Land Commission Slams 'Chaotic' Land Reforms
A shambles - this is reportedly the words used in a Zimbabwe Land Commission preliminary audit report to describe the land reform programme that was endorsed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Critics have argued that the chaotic manner in which the distribution of land was carried out, as well as the tenure system anchored on 99-year lease agreements between farmers and government does not bode well for development in the agricultural sector.
