Malawi Presidential Poll Results Available in 8 Days

Election officials have started counting votes in Malawi's closely contested elections. Incumbent Peter Mutharika is seeking a second five-year term but faces a strong challenge from opposition Vice President Saulos Chilima and former Baptist preacher Lazarus Chakwera.
