The 8th Nigerian Senate has introduced the NS8 Chatbot, an online Artificial Intelligence (AI) - powered information service for Nigerians interested in the outgoing 8th Senate’s activities, key interventions and achievements.

"The 8th Senate pursued its legislative agenda to reform the economy and build a country that creates opportunity for all. It is an honour to preside over this Senate" - Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

At inception the 8th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria adopted the Senate Legislative agenda focusing on three broad areas: Improving Livelihoods, Improving Governance and Improving Business.

Over the years the 8th Senate focused on improving the general operative environment for business in Nigeria, increasing access to funding for health care and education and building social safety nets for the most vulnerable in our society including those ravaged by war and conflict.

The 8th Senate of Nigeria has been focused on driving the agenda to undertake a comprehensive review of business-related legislations in Nigeria with a view to improving Nigeria’s ease-of-doing-business ranking.
