Amnesty International Shuts Down Zimbabwe Operations Over Fraud

Amnesty International has suspended operations at its Zimbabwean branch following alleged evidence of mismanagement and massive fraud. In addition, previous members of the non-governmental organisation, including former director Cousin Zilala, are pursuing legal action and demanding U.S.$3 million over alleged defamation.
