How Small Talk Saved Iraq-Bound Kenyan Woman

Shantel Nyaboke, 21, mistakenly believed that she was on her way to Qatar for greener pastures until a stranger showed her that her final destination was Iraq and her contract did not state her salary or her working hours, and there was no indication on whether she would have any days off. The good Samaritan saved her from probably a lifetime of slavery and exploitation in the Middle East.
