Ramaphosa, the Public Protector and That R500,000 Donation

That R500,000 donation from discredited South African firm Bosasa to Cyril Ramaphosa's presidential campaign is casting an ever-increasing shadow on his presidency. Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane seems hellbent on making allegations of money laundering stick, but according to law expert Pierre De Vos "she is not the person to do so, as she doesn't have the legal authority to investigate the laundering claims exclusively involving two private entities". So, what now?
