Govt Wants Kenyan to Take Over East Africa's Top Telecoms Company

Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Communications Joe Mucheru says the government will however not impose its wish on the board to have a Kenyan take over reigns at Safaricom following the death of Chief Executive Officer Bob Collymore. The board has placed the company's founding CEO, Michael Joseph at the helm, in an interim capacity.
