Nigeria to Seize $40 Million of Jewellery From Ex-Oil Minister

A court has ordered the imminent seizure of U.S.$40 million worth of jewellery and a customised gold iPhone belonging to former oil minister Diezani Alison-Madueke. The jewellery was recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission from homes traced to Alison-Madueke.  She is accused of corruption and misappropriation of the country's oil funds while in office.
