Over Half of Zimbabwe's Ambulances Down
Zimbabwean hospitals are operating without enough ambulances to ferry patients as over half of its 282 fleet was down. This was revealed in a 2018 report of the situation by Auditor General Mildred Chisi - which exposes a litany of gross accounting malpractices by government departments, parastatals and local authorities that gobbled millions of dollars.
