A new report by a non-governmental organization Oxfam International has ranked Nigeria low on poverty eradication and gender equality, negatively impacting the nation's economic growth. According to the Oxfam Commitment to Reducing Inequality Index, governments in West Africa are the least committed to reducing inequality on the continent.
