Bruce Koloane, State Capture Fall Guy May Lose Ambassador Post

South Africa's Minister of International Affairs Naledi Pandor is meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa to discuss the possible recall of Bruce Koloane, the name dropping official who managed to "persuade" military officials to allow a private plane of the Guptas, personal friends of then president Jacob Zuma to land at the military airbase Waterkloof in Pretoria in 2009. The Guptas have together with Zuma, been implicated in state capture allegations in former public protector Thuli Madonsela's report. The official opposition, the Democratic Alliance wants Koloane gone from his post following "incriminating testimony" at the judicial commission of inquiry into state capture.
