Al-Shabaab Claims Deadly Blast That Injured Mogadishu Mayor

The mayor of Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, is to be flown to Turkey for treatment along with several others injured in a suicide attack, officials have told BBC Somali. Local news station Dalsan Radio reports that at least seven officials were killed when a female suicide bomber detonated an explosive device after entering a meeting hall at the municipality headquarters.
