Uganda Opposition Cries Foul On Electoral Reforms

Amendments to the country's electoral laws have left the opposition and civil society questioning the government's willingness to conduct free and fair elections in 2021, since a 2016 supreme court ruling that promised electoral reforms for the coming general elections. However, the tabled amendments are different from those recommended by the court.
