Attacks on Foreign Visitors Harming South African Tourism - Govt

The Portfolio Committee on Tourism has condemned recent criminal attacks on tourists, including the fatal stabbing of a Ukrainian hiker in Hout Bay and the armed robbery of guests at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, adding that perceptions about crime in South Africa are negatively impacting tourism.
