Talks Stopped as Deadly Sudan Shootings Spark Protests

The killing of five protesters, among them four students, in El Obeid has sparked major demonstrations in various Sudanese cities and towns, Radio Dabanga reports. Members of the Rapid Support Forces, Sudan's main government militia, reportedly shot at secondary school students and activists demonstrating in the North Kordofan capital.
