A team from State House together with the public accounts committee of parliament has uncovered that a total of just over U.S.$5,100 was released off the State House's budget for the financial year 2016-2017 to honour President Yoweri Museveni's request shortly after winning the 2016 elections. The committee is scrutinizing queries raised by the Auditor General, in his report for the financial year ending June 2018.
