Nigerian Army Denies Secretly Burying 1,000 Soldiers

Defence Headquarters has dismissed reports that the military secretly dumped the remains of fallen heroes of the Boko Haram war in unmarked mass graves. U.S. newspaper The Wall Street Journal - citing diplomatic sources, a senior government official, families of some dead troops and a soldier stationed at Maimalari Barrack in Borno State - said the soldiers were buried in unmarked graves at night.
